The Dahua VTH5221D-S2 is a wireless WiFi 7-inch indoor monitor with a glass touch screen color display for use in a wired or wireless Dahua IP intercom system. The Dahua VTH5221D-S2 has a black bezel.

Features
With the VTH5221D-S2 indoor monitor an audio and video conversation can be held with a person standing at an outdoor station or between monitors. The Dahua VTH5221D-S2 can be used as a wired or wireless monitor in a wired or wireless Dahua IP intercom system. The VTH5221D-S2 can be the only monitor in a Dahua intercom system but can for example also be added wireless as an extra monitor to an existing wired Dahua IP video intercom system.

The monitor has a microSD card slot for recording. Two doors can be unlocked from the monitor. The VTH5221D-S2 can also display the video images of Dahua or ONVIF compatible IP cameras.

The high resolution 1024×600 pixel touch screen monitor has a capacitive (hard glass) screen as is used on modern smartphones. In the latest firmware the language of the indoor monitor can only be set in English. A downgrade is no longer possible.

Mounting
The monitor is surface mounted and can be connected using WiFi or connected with a network cable to a switch or router. The monitor can be powered with a network cable using a PoE switch or PoE injector. The monitor can also be powered with a not included 12VDC adapter. A suitable 12VDC adapter can be found under the tab “Options”. A bracket for the indoor monitor is included.
