Switch Series D-Link DES-1210 includes a Web Smart Switch the next generation. Equipped with a 24 or 48-port 10/100 Mbit / s, 2 x 10/100/1000 BASE-T and 2 combo ports 10/100/1000 BASE-T / SFP, the series combines the functions of advanced management and security, providing better performance and scalability.   Simple-to-use switches DES-1210-08P / 28P equipped with integrated 10/100 Mbit / s with PoE and power management features PoE takiimi as scheduled, in which the power port is disconnected at a preset time. Smart Fan feature on DES-1210-28P allows built-in fan automatically at a certain temperature, providing continuous, reliable and eco-friendly operation of the switch.  It is compatible with standard 802.3af and 802.3at DES-1210-28P is able to feed up to 30 watts per device. Management features include SNMP, management of Web-based interface, SmartConsole Utility, and Compact Command Line for easy deployment. Flexible integration into existing network

Web Smart Switches provide small and medium business (SMB) full control over the network. Thanks to the “copper” ports Gigabit Ethernet, capable of connecting to existing cable category 5 twisted-pair, the use of these switches not require any existing infrastructure.  DES-1210 switches provide a flexible connection to the core network or servers.  In addition, all ports support auto MDI / MDIX cross cable connections.  This eliminates the need for crossover cables for uplink ports and provides a connection of desktop computers.

Extensive Layer 2

Switches DES-1210 series supports Layer 2 functions, including IGMP Snooping, Port Mirroring, Spanning Tree, and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP).  IEEE 802.3x Flow Control allows you to directly connect the server to the switch for fast, reliable data transfer. Maintaining speed 2000Mbit / s in full duplex mode, the Gigabit ports provide high-speed data connection for jobs with minimal losses.  The switches support function and Cable Diagnostics function Loopback Detection. Loopback Detection is used to detect loops and automatic shut-off port on which the loop is detected, thereby preventing problems in the network independently of the STP-protocol.  Cable Diagnostics is designed to determine the quality of the copper cables and also the type of cable error.

Quality of service (QoS), Broadcast Storm Control

Switches DES-1210 series supports Auto Surveillance VLAN (ASV) and Auto Voice VLAN for VoIP applications and deploy surveillance systems.  ASV ensures quality video in real-time monitoring and control without transmitting data over a standard network.  DSCP marks Ethernet-packets by assigning the network traffic for a certain level of service. With Bandwidth Control allows network administrators to reserve bandwidth for a variety of applications that require high bandwidth or might have high priority.

Network Security

Function D-Link Safeguard Engine protects the switches against traffic flooding caused by viruses.  Authentication based on 802.1X port allows you to use an external RADIUS server to authenticate users.  In addition, the Access Control List (ACL) feature enhances network security and helps to protect the internal IT-network. Switches DES-1210 series supports the function of preventing attacks ARP Spoofing, protects from attacks an Ethernet, which can cause a change in traffic or delay by sending fake ARP-messages.  For added security feature DHCP Server Screening, deny access to unauthorized DHCP-servers.
