Warranty Information
Important information about manufacturer warranties, warranty claims, repairs, replacements and customer responsibilities.
At Rapidtech Networks Limited, we stand by the quality of the products we sell. Many products are covered by warranties provided directly by their manufacturers.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, Rapidtech Networks Limited does not provide additional guarantees beyond the applicable manufacturer’s warranty and disclaims implied warranties, including warranties relating to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
1. Manufacturer’s Warranty
Products may carry a warranty provided by the original manufacturer. The duration, coverage and conditions of these warranties vary according to the product, model and brand.
Warranty assistance will be provided according to the applicable manufacturer’s terms, warranty procedures and final assessment.
2. When Warranty Coverage Becomes Void
Warranty coverage may become null and void under the following circumstances:
- Failure to follow instructions: Operating, installing or maintaining the product outside the manufacturer’s prescribed guidelines.
- Physical damage or misuse: Damage caused by dropping, impact, negligence, misuse, abuse or improper storage.
- Liquid damage: Damage caused by water, moisture, chemicals or other liquids.
- Unauthorized repairs or installation: Servicing, installation or modification performed by an unauthorized technician.
- Broken or missing seals: Products with altered, removed, broken or missing warranty seals.
- Missing tax invoice: Claims submitted without a valid original Rapidtech tax invoice or acceptable proof of purchase.
- Surge or lightning damage: Damage caused by electrical surges, unstable power, lightning or related electrical events unless coverage has been expressly agreed in writing.
3. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, the client must:
- Contact Rapidtech Networks Limited and describe the product fault.
- Provide the original tax invoice or acceptable proof of purchase.
- Return the product with its original packaging, power supplies, cables, manuals and accessories.
- Provide relevant photographs, videos or fault information where requested.
- Allow the product to be inspected and tested before a repair, replacement or credit is approved.
4. Inspection and Warranty Outcome
All returned products must be inspected and tested before a warranty claim is approved. Depending on the fault and the manufacturer’s assessment, the available remedy may include:
- Repairing the faulty product
- Replacing it with the same or an equivalent product
- Issuing a credit note if an appropriate repair or replacement is unavailable
5. Warranty Shipping Costs
Customers are ordinarily responsible for the shipping and handling costs incurred when returning a product for inspection.
Where no fault is found or the product is outside warranty, all return and collection costs remain the client’s responsibility.
6. Advance Swap Option
In selected cases and subject to prior written agreement, Rapidtech Networks Limited may provide an advance swap by issuing a replacement before receiving or completing inspection of the reported faulty unit.
7. Repairs and Processing
Some products may need to be returned to the manufacturer, authorized repair centre or an international service facility. In such cases:
- Repairs may take up to 12 weeks, depending on the fault, availability of spare parts and the manufacturer’s turnaround time.
- Rapidtech Networks Limited’s responsibility is limited to coordinating the repair, replacement or credit process according to the manufacturer’s decision.
- Clients will be notified when the repaired or replacement product is ready for collection.
8. Uncollected Products
If a repaired or replacement product is not collected within 30 days after the client has been notified that it is ready, Rapidtech Networks Limited reserves the right to apply storage charges or resell the item to recover applicable repair, storage and handling costs, subject to applicable law.
9. Refurbished and Certified Refurbished Products
Refurbished products are products that have been returned to a manufacturer or vendor and restored to working condition. Although many are in near-new condition, they may show cosmetic signs of previous use, including scratches, marks or dents.
- Refurbished products may contain reused, repaired or replacement components.
- Warranty terms for refurbished products vary by manufacturer and product.
- The applicable warranty period will be communicated at the time of purchase where available.
- Warranty claims must comply with the relevant manufacturer’s conditions.
10. Client Responsibilities
- Follow all manufacturer installation, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Use appropriate power protection where required.
- Retain the original tax invoice, packaging and supplied accessories.
- Pay applicable shipping and handling costs when returning a product for warranty inspection.
- Collect repaired or replacement products unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rapidtech Networks Limited will not be responsible for:
- Loss or damage resulting from equipment failure or service interruption
- Indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of business or profits
- Verbal or informal warranty representations that have not been agreed in writing
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rapidtech Networks Limited, its employees, subcontractors and affiliates from third-party claims resulting from the client’s improper, unlawful or unauthorized installation, modification or use of the products.
