General Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website www.rapidtech.co.ke (the “Website”) operated by Rapidtech Networks Limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), and apply to all products and services offered by us.

By using our Website, placing an order, or purchasing any goods or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

  1. Return & Refund Policy

At Rapidtech Networks Limited, customer satisfaction is a priority. We accept returns and exchanges for both defective and non-defective items under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned in new, unused condition with all original packaging and accessories.
  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery or purchase.
  • Returns can be made in-store or by mail. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

A 15% restocking fee applies to non-defective items returned due to change of mind. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 1–7 business days from receipt of the returned item.

Defective items will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. In cases where a replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be issued.

  1. Shipping & Delivery

Rapidtech Networks Limited delivers products across Kenya using its in-house team and third-party couriers. Delivery terms include:

  • Delivery fees are applicable and vary depending on the location and delivery method.
  • A signed delivery note (physical or electronic) by the client or representative serves as conclusive proof of delivery.
  • Partial deliveries may be made with prior client consent.
  • The client may choose to arrange their own transport but assumes all associated risks and responsibilities.
  • Special delivery methods may incur additional charges with prior agreement.

Rapidtech is not liable for delivery delays beyond its control. All discrepancies (e.g., damages or shortages) must be reported within 2 business days of receipt.

  1. Payment Terms

We offer flexible payment options:

Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • Available only for orders within Nairobi and up to KES 10,000.
  • Orders above KES 10,000 or outside Nairobi require full payment in advance.
  • Cash payments may also be made at our Nairobi CBD shop.

M-PESA Paybill

  • Paybill Number: 880100
  • Account Number: 544517
  • Send confirmation via SMS/WhatsApp to +254 722 555 289.
    For large orders (KES 500,000+), please contact us for custom arrangements.

Bank Transfer / EFT

  • Payments must reference the correct invoice number.
  • Orders will only be processed after payment is confirmed in our bank account.
  • Proof of payment must be sent via email or WhatsApp for verification.
  1. Warranty Terms

Products sold by Rapidtech Networks Limited may be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. We do not offer additional warranties beyond those provided by the manufacturer.

Warranty becomes void under the following conditions:

  • Non-adherence to manufacturer guidelines
  • Physical or liquid damage, tampering, misuse, or unauthorized repairs
  • Broken or missing seals
  • Missing original tax invoice
  • Damage from surges or lightning, unless agreed otherwise in writing

Clients are responsible for:

  • Shipping costs related to warranty claims (unless the item is confirmed defective under warranty)
  • Returning products with original packaging and accessories
  • Collecting repaired or replaced items unless agreed otherwise

Repairs may take up to 12 weeks if handled by the manufacturer or overseas vendors. Items not collected within 30 days after repair may be resold to recover costs.

Refurbished Products

Refurbished products may show signs of wear and are covered only by limited warranties as set by the manufacturer. Warranty support is limited and subject to manufacturer terms.

We collect and process personal data to improve our services and comply with legal obligations. Data collected includes:

  • Personal identifiers (e.g., name, email, phone number, address)
  • Device and usage data (e.g., IP address, browser type, time spent on site)

  • Losses from equipment failure, delayed deliveries, or service interruptions
  • Indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits
  • Verbal or implied warranties not documented in writing

By purchasing from or using services provided by Rapidtech Networks Limited, you agree to indemnify and hold us (including employees and affiliates) harmless from any third-party claims arising from product use, including hidden or latent defects.
