The hid-compliant USB port allows for automatic saves and shutdowns in the event of extended power failure. This port connects the UPS battery backup to a computer running tripp lite’s free downloadable power alert software to enable safe unattended file saves and system shutdown if power failure will last longer than the UPS can power the load. The USB cable is included and this function works with windows, mac and Linux operating systems

8 outlet power supply

All 8 c13 outlets provide both battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor and other crucial components. Two 1.5-meter c13-to-c14 power cables are included for connecting equipment. The c13 outlets provide power to a multitude of equipment including pc, home office or digital signage equipment
