Cambium ePMP 3000 5GHz Connectorized MU-MIMO 4×4 Access Point (ePMP 3000 AP)
The Cambium ePMP 3000 AP is a high-performance 5GHz access point designed for demanding wireless networks in interference-prone environments. As the third-generation ePMP solution, it builds on the reliability and scalability of previous models while introducing MU-MIMO technology for enhanced throughput. The 4×4 MU-MIMO design allows the ePMP 3000 to serve multiple subscribers simultaneously, effectively doubling sector capacity without increasing channel bandwidth. This access point is ideal for enterprise, wireless ISP, and large-scale outdoor wireless deployments requiring high capacity, interference tolerance, and network efficiency.
Product Features
Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO)
Serves two MIMO subscribers simultaneously in the downlink, doubling sector throughput while maintaining the same channel bandwidth.
Frequency Reuse
Supports GPS synchronization and SM transmit power control to enable efficient frequency reuse in dense wireless networks.
High Performance and Scalability
With the Cambium MAC protocol and advanced air-fairness scheduler, the AP can handle up to 120 simultaneously active subscriber modules without performance degradation.
Industry-Leading Interference Tolerance
Intelligent filtering on the receive side mitigates strong off-channel interference, while transmit-side filtering reduces off-channel noise for superior radio co-location.
Advanced Spectral Efficiency
MU-MIMO technology maximizes sector capacity and improves overall network efficiency in high-density deployments.
