OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual 6TB 2-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array Features in Kenya

6TB Capacity Across Two Drives

The array comes with two 3TB hard drives, providing 6TB of nominal combined storage for files, backups and media libraries. Available capacity depends on the selected RAID mode and drive formatting.

Hardware RAID with Multiple Modes

Choose RAID 0, RAID 1, SPAN or Independent/JBOD operation using the built-in hardware RAID controller. RAID 0 combines the drives for performance and capacity, while RAID 1 mirrors data across the drives; configuration choice affects usable capacity and data protection.

Thunderbolt 2 and USB Connectivity

Two Thunderbolt 2 ports support high-speed connections and daisy-chaining, while USB 3.1 Gen 1 provides an alternative connection for compatible computers. Actual performance depends on the computer, connection and storage workload.

7200RPM SATA Hard Drives

The enclosure houses two 3.5-inch SATA III hard drives running at 7200RPM. This drive setup is intended for desktop storage tasks that benefit from high capacity and sustained access to files.

Aluminium Enclosure and Active Cooling

The aluminium enclosure is paired with a built-in cooling fan to support operation of the installed drives. Its desktop form is suited to a workstation or other fixed computer setup.

Supplied Cables and Power Supply

The package includes a 1m Thunderbolt cable, a 0.6m USB cable, an external power supply and a power cable, providing the listed connection and power accessories for setup.
