Hikvisions DarkFighter technology enables these cameras to stay in the color mode for longer than some of their other counterparts. This allows for clearer surveillance for longer and a greater chance of picking up on intruders’ clothing colors, shoe types, etc.

Vandal dome cameras are ideal for mounting lower down within arm’s reach as they cannot be tampered with and moved in a different direction. This is their main advantage over the other types of cameras and allows for a failsafe security solution in lower-down areas of the property. The most common spot for vandal domes is in offices, by porches, and under carports for example.

Because they’re generally mounted lower down a 2.8 mm lens is ideal as it will provide a nice wide field of view of the surrounding area such as your front drive.

This IP camera runs power over ethernet (POE) technology; this allows for both power and data to run down a single cable.

This Hikvision camera uses the ONVIF protocol which allows it to be used with third-party NVRs that also use the ONVIF protocols. There is no guarantee that these cameras will work on a recorder without the ONVIF protocol.
