BlackVue Power Magic EZ OBD2 Adapter

The BlackVue Power Magic EZ OBD2 Adapter is a vehicle power accessory for connecting a compatible dash camera to the vehicle’s OBD-II port. It supplies power through a DC plug and is designed to support dash camera operation, including parking mode, without requiring a conventional hardwire connection to the fuse box.

The adapter includes adjustable parking mode timers, an ON/OFF switch and automatic low-voltage cut-off to help protect the vehicle battery. Its compatibility depends on the vehicle’s CAN-bus system, so check the vehicle model and installation requirements before use. This product is discontinued.

BlackVue Power Magic EZ OBD2 Adapter Features in Kenya

OBD-II Vehicle Power Connection

The adapter connects to a vehicle through its OBD-II port and supplies power to a compatible dash camera through a DC power plug. Vehicle and dash camera compatibility should be checked before installation.

Parking Mode Timer Options

Select a parking mode timer of 6, 12, 24, 36, 48, 72 or 120 hours, or choose unlimited operation. Available operation time can depend on the vehicle battery and electrical system.

Automatic Low-Voltage Cut-Off

The adapter monitors voltage and can cut power when the configured low-voltage threshold is reached, helping reduce the risk of excessive vehicle battery discharge while the dash camera is parked.

12V and 24V System Cut-Off Settings

Voltage cut-off settings are specified for both 12V and 24V systems. Confirm that the selected setting is appropriate for the vehicle before using the adapter.

Parking Mode ON/OFF Switch

A built-in switch lets the user enable or disable parking mode power, providing a simple way to control whether the dash camera remains powered while the vehicle is parked.

LED Status Indicator

The green and red LED indicator provides a visual status signal for the adapter during operation.

Plug-and-Play Installation

The OBD-II connection is designed for plug-and-play installation. Compatibility can vary because some vehicles have model-specific CAN-bus restrictions.
